About Ryan

An operator for problems that do not fit neatly inside one function.

ScaleGuide is built around a simple idea: expensive operating problems often live in the gaps between teams, systems, incentives, and decisions. That is where Ryan has spent most of his career.

Ryan Harris has led operations, client success, growth, enterprise implementation, and transformation work across SaaS, healthcare, financial services, and insurance. The titles have changed. The work has been remarkably consistent: find the point where strategy is getting lost in execution, make the system visible, and fix the part that is suppressing the result.

His experience includes senior operating roles at growth companies and transformation work inside consulting environments, along with direct advisory and operating engagements. That mix matters because the problem is rarely just process, just technology, or just people. It is usually the interaction among all three.

ScaleGuide exists to bring that pattern recognition to growth companies in a focused, measurable way — without turning every operating problem into a massive consulting engagement.

How Ryan works

Ryan leads the diagnosis, executive alignment, and consequential operating decisions in every engagement. Additional tools, automation, or specialists are used when they improve the economics, speed, or quality of the result.

The bias is toward a bounded problem, an objective baseline, a practical intervention, and a measurable outcome. If the economics do not justify the work, the right answer is not to manufacture a transformation program.

Where the pattern repeats

  • Revenue is sold but takes too long to activate.
  • Demand exists but leaks before becoming completed revenue-producing activity.
  • Growth requires too much incremental operating labor.
  • Cross-functional handoffs delay billing, cash, or customer value.
  • Management systems have not caught up with the complexity of the business.
